Why Help Pet Adoption League?
When you help PAL, you are truly helping animals in need. There are many ways you can get involved, described in more detail below. Your kind donations help us rescue more homeless dogs & cats; many of whom would not have survived to find new and loving homes without the help of the Pet Adoption League. Donations are used for spay and neuter of all dogs, food for cats, and veterinary care for the sickest and most injured animals.

Attend a Fundraiser
PAL teams up with Cat Assistance, another rescue group, twice a year to host two large fundraisers. In April we have a dinner and in the fall we put together a Pet Expo. 100% of the proceeds from these events go to help the animals.

Volunteer
Love animals? Want to be part of a rewarding experience? Then call us to volunteer! We desperately need volunteers for many different tasks.

Here is a list of just some of the things volunteers can do.

• walk dogs
• socialize cats
• provide a foster home
• help with fundraisers
• trap feral cats for TNR
• develop a newsletter
• if you specialize in something in particular that you think would help PAL and/or the animals, we would love to hear about it!

PAL is an all volunteer rescue group that works with a small city run shelter in Mt. Vernon, NY, and works throughout lower Westchester County NY. We are always happy to have more people volunteer to help the animals in many ways.

PAL needs your donations! 100% of all donations go to helping the animals. PAL is a non-profit 501(c)3 Charity: any donation you make is tax deductible.
